Honored to share that my work for Edible DC's "Follow the Fish" story (Fall 2025) won two 2026 Best of Edible Awards: Best Magazine Cover and Best Feature Photography.
Edible is an international network of more than 75 magazines across the U.S. and Canada. Each publication tells the stories behind the food we eat in different regions. The farmers, fishermen, the chefs and producers. Their mission aligns so well with my photography on the Chesapeake Bay. Getting out on the water with the people who bring seafood to our tables, and showing the work, skill and tradition that goes into the catch is the kind of story I love telling.
A big thank you to James Whitman and the whole Edible DC team for giving this story so much space in the magazine, and congratulations to them on winning Best Letter from the Publisher for the same issue. And most of all, thank you to the watermen who let me tag along for these shoots - my work documenting the seafood industry would not be possible without their generosity.
