Photography workshops out of Lubec, Maine take photographers to the eastern most point of land in the United States. With a retired and beautifully restored coast guard station as the home base for the workshop we will be exploring the coastal communities along Maine’s bold coast and Canada’s Campobello Island. We will be out on the water with fishermen as they harvest lobsters, clams and sea urchins. During the workshop there will be opportunities to photograph landscapes of the beautiful rocky shoreline, lighthouses and iconic working waterfronts. The workshop cost includes all lodging, meals, photography instruction and activities. The workshop is limited to four participants to ensure that each student gets one on one photography instruction.

Jay is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed boat captain with more than 600 documented days on the water in the last five years.

$1750.00 deposit for the 2024 Downeast Maine Photography Workshop - this payment reserves the space on the trip. The total cost of the workshop is $3500.00 The remaining balance of $1750.00 is due 30 days prior to the date workshop - an email with a payment link will be sent to each participant.

A detailed itinerary will be sent out to each participant 30 days before to the workshop along with the payment link for the balance. In the event of a cancellation more than 30 days before the workshop, the deposit is refunded minus a $150.00 processing fee. If a cancellation is made less than 30 days before the workshop, the deposit is not refundable.
