Tidewater Inn - book signing - 11.12.2016

A special thanks to the Tidewater Inn for hosting my book signing in their library. The book signing coincided with the 2016 Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Maryland.

November 9th - Chesapeake Bay Maritime Musuem  - St. Michaels, Maryland

  The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, Md. begins its Fall Speaker Series on October 5 and continues on select dates through November 9, 2016. All sessions take place in CBMM’s Van Lennep Auditorium, with advanced registration needed, as seating is limited.The final offering in the speaker series will be a “Working the Water” book event with photographer and author Jay Fleming on Wednesday, November 9 at 5:30 pm. Fleming will present many of the photographs in the book to the audience on the big screen, while offering commentary on the significance of his selected images. Book sales and signings will follow.

November 10th - Ocean Odyssey - Cambridge Maryland

On Thursday, November 10th, chef Travis Todd of  Ocean Odyssey Seafood Restaurant will be hosting a book signing at his restaurant in Cambridge. Locally harvested oysters, shucked by local watermen will be provided to our guests FREE of charge! Travis will also have awesome food and drinks available for purchase through the restaurant. 

This will be a great opportunity to get a personalized book for a holiday gift! Looking forward to our first Dorchester County book signing of the fall season!


November 11th - Wild and Scenic Film Festival - Cambridge, Maryland

  Jay will be showing a video trailer of his book for the first time at the wild and scenic film festival in Cambridge. The trailer will show videos of the different scenes that Jay photographed during his travels throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed while producing Working the WaterJay will be signing and personalizing copies of his book after the films have been previewed. 


November 12th - Tidewater Inn - Easton, Maryland

  From 10am to 3pm, Jay will be signing books and have prints on display in the library (first floor, to the right of the main lobby) of the Tidewater Inn. The inn is located in the heart of downtown Easton and will be centrally located with all of the events happening for the Waterfowl Festival. Be sure to stop by for a personalized copy of Working the Water. 

  From 3pm to 6pm, Jay will be signing books at the Brew and Oyster Brawl hosted by the Tidewater Inn - this is always a great event with great local oysters and beer prominently featured! 


November 13th - Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy - Easton, Maryland

  On Sunday, Jay will have a booth set up on Harrison Street in Easton from 11am - 2pm in partnership with the Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy. Signed and personalized copies of the book will be available for purchase along with prints and calendars.
