Smith Island Photography Workshop: May 23-25

This week, I had another great group of photographers out on Smith Island for the second workshop of the year. The group was made up of six photographers from Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia. We had clear skies for the entire three days - making for different shooting conditions than the last workshop. We took advantage of the soft natural lighting in the mornings and evenings for shooting around the island.

Smith Island Photography workshop: May 18-20

Had a great group of ladies out on Smith Island for the first photography workshop of 2018. They arrived on Friday amidst strong NE winds and rain squalls. Even with the weather, the attitude remained optimistic of these intrepid women. Breaks in the rain offered us opportunities to get out and provided for some great opportunities to photograph wildlife and the islands working watermen working. Looking forward to this weeks trip with six photographers.

A positive attitude lets you have fun in even the worst conditions - 20+ NE wind and sideways rain!
